CIRCLETRUST
Privacy Policy · effective 16 September 2026

Your data should serve the relationship — not become the product.

This Privacy Policy explains how CircleTrust accesses, collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the CircleTrust web app or Android app distributed through Google Play.

Plain-language summary. CircleTrust uses account and Community information to run the service, stores the content you choose to contribute, uses device identifiers for notifications, and uses camera/microphone/location only when you deliberately use features that need them. CircleTrust does not sell personal data and does not use membership, calls or private messages to create a public trust score.

1. Information you provide

Optional private Memories

If you choose to use Memories, CircleTrust stores the short labels, occasion types, months and days you enter, plus your on/off, Home invitation, optional greeting and per-occurrence dismissal choices, in your account on Firebase. Other members cannot access them. They are not end-to-end encrypted. If you separately enable Home greetings, we use these dates to show you a private illustrated card when you visit Home three days before an occasion, based on India time. Greetings are off by default. You can turn them off or dismiss an occurrence. No birth year, contact access, public birthday directory, push reminder, email reminder or purchase offer is part of this release. You can edit a date, delete individual dates or delete all dates in Memories. Turning the feature off hides dates without deleting them. Account removal also removes these records; a daily cleanup covers accounts removed without their profile, so this cleanup may take up to 24 hours under normal operation.

2. Device and usage information

CircleTrust may process authentication/session identifiers, notification registration identifiers, notification preferences, timestamps, feature state, basic reliability diagnostics and locally stored preferences such as appearance, language, drafts and onboarding state. These are used to keep the app signed in, deliver requested notifications, restore your experience and diagnose failures.

3. Camera, microphone and location

4. How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, provide Community and private Circle features, deliver recommendations and conversations, maintain referral attribution, operate live calls, send notifications you enable, protect users, investigate reports, prevent abuse, support account recovery, improve reliability and comply with legal obligations.

5. Service providers and external services

Depending on the feature you use, CircleTrust relies on service providers including Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, functions, storage and push infrastructure), Google Maps/Places and Mapbox (place/location search and mapping), and Agora (real-time voice/video calling). Some content may link to external services such as YouTube, WhatsApp or map tiles. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices. CircleTrust may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect users and the service.

6. Private content and moderation

Private Circle content and participant-only direct messages are restricted to their intended participants through CircleTrust access controls. CircleTrust does not promise end-to-end encryption. Private content may be accessed by authorised operators when necessary to act on a user report, protect safety, troubleshoot a user-requested issue, or meet a legal obligation. Reporting evidence is handled through restricted review paths.

7. Retention

We retain account data and user content while your account is active and as needed to operate CircleTrust. Some operational, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-report or legal records may be retained for a limited period where necessary. When an account-deletion request is completed, CircleTrust deletes the account and associated personal data, except information we are legally required or legitimately permitted to retain; any such retention is limited to that purpose.

8. Account deletion and your choices

You can change profile and notification choices inside CircleTrust, block users where available, and request deletion of your account and associated data. Use Delete your CircleTrust account from any browser; the same link is available in Me → Account. You may also submit a privacy question or data request through the privacy inquiry form.

9. Security

CircleTrust uses HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and access controls appropriate to the service. No online system is completely risk-free; we limit access and aim to collect only information needed for the product.

10. Children and age

CircleTrust is not designed to encourage objectionable or sexually explicit content. Users must meet the minimum age required to use online services in their jurisdiction and, where required, have permission from a parent or guardian. The service may apply additional age or Community restrictions as it expands.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when CircleTrust changes. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes may be surfaced in the app.

12. Developer and privacy contact

This policy applies to the CircleTrust app and service. For privacy questions, access/correction requests, or other data inquiries, use the CircleTrust privacy inquiry form. That form is the designated privacy contact mechanism for this release.
